The All Japan Senior High School Cultural Federation is a nationwide public interest incorporated association and aims to contribute to the sound upbringing of high school students by broadly supporting their cultural activities.
The Federation organizes various art and culture projects including the “All Japan High School Cultural Festival,” seminar/lectures and research and development projects.
The All Japan Senior High School Cultural Federation was founded as a voluntary organization in February 1986. It became an authorized “incorporated association” in April 2001. The recent Reform of the Public Interest Corporations System decided that the Federation be authorized as a “public interest incorporated association” as of April 1, 2012.
The All Japan Senior High School Cultural Federation consists of the 47 Prefectural High School (Art) Cultural Federation and the titular member groups of 19 national specialist categories including theater, chorus and wind music. The operations are supported by fees collected from titular members. Co-sponsors and corporate and individual sponsors also support the activities of the Federation.
The Federation fully supports extracurricular activities of high school students together with the All Japan High School Athletic Federation and the Japan High School Baseball Federation.
The logo was decided by the All Japan Senior High School Cultural Federation Council on May 25, 1987 after selecting ideas from the public.
It was established as an official logo of the All Japan Senior High School Cultural Federation symbol and used generally as the “KOBUNREN Logo.”
- The straight line symbolizes the robust personality and the curve symbolizes C for Culture and Creation. The whole logo stands for solidarity among people.

The song was decided by the All Japan Senior High School Cultural Federation Board on February 16, 1988 after selecting ideas from the public.
